Taking a quick survey - would these kinds of videos be better if we hammed it up and forced ourselves unnecessarily into the camera shot, put some extra bass in our voice, asked goofball questions, interjected, and nodded a lot to be "influencers?" let us know in the comments.

Knight's Armament Company KS-1 - SHOT Show 2024

Trey Knight talks KS-1 at SHOT Show 2024. Before commenting, consider that, no, your 500-dollar AR isn't better or somehow more innovative. Better for YOU and your actual needs? Very possible. That is certainly not a judgment. Not everyone (or most) needs what this gun offers. However, to pretend that a hard-use, battle-proven AR made by KAC doesn't shine for a specific purpose is a cringe-wort...

How to Fix Scratches on your AR-15 - School of the American Rifle
Brilliant! I thought I needed new pin. Turns out I needed to just watch this video
The Midwest URR did not work on my AR the rod could not be inserted into the upper the rod is 1.00 in. OD the upper ID is .933 in.
So a standard 3oz buffer is recommended for a 16” barrel in 5.56 with a mid length system?
Sorry glitch in my phone

Question not related to vid For a first ar would you recommend the evolve or the arx lighfighter or a sionics?

Great video bro.
So it's obvious the Midwest is the best. I need to buy one of these because I have to uppers to assemble & all I have is the Brownells clam shell. Which is what I've used to assemble my others previously. Now after watching your stuff I wanna go back & check those with the rod also. So considering I'm only gonna be messing with 6 uppers. Do you think the wheel rod would be ok fory situation of not doing this alot? Or should I just get the Midwest?
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Best tip ever. Thank you so much!
Thank you!
I never had trouble with putting them back together. Now that I got this new AR I was like geez I’m I doing something wrong here don’t remember having this much trouble putting this pin in 😂
So can a similar size "normal" cotter pin the same size work or is there something special about a firing pin retaining pin?
Holy cow! I've been trying for way too long, hurting my fingers and about ready to get a hammer. I knew I shouldn't force it. First attempt in as soon as I heard your trick! Love you! Thank you 1000 times for this video!
My Ruger, AR. 556. is notorious for that. They say to use a punch. to compress. the Cotter pin. when inserting it.
This worked awesome thank you!
Thank You Sir
Thank you sir!!!
Thank you so much 👍🏿
Watch this every year bcuz of the micro 16
Great tip. Really helped me out. I had a stubborn one and went to googling looking for a solution. Thanks.
Dude you're awesome thank you! That simple I'll be damned haha!
The MOD contract has an option for up to 200,000 rifles. Assuming the initial rifles work out as well as expected, it will be rolled out over the next 5 to 10 years as the new service rifle The biggest delay will be working out the new rifle drill!
wich one works with a 7.62x39 barrel
I've been fighting this stupid pin for 45 min now, tried your method and it basically fell in place, thank you very much sir!
Gas impingment/direct blowback? Is it fully semi automatic as well? Lol
All man got buy one now
It just did thanks
I appreciate the demonstration. I have to ask, do reaction rods you show that have the fin (wheeler, Midwest) stop the torque all going to the index pin?
In the military, we could fix scratches and shiny spots on the upper, but we couldn't do it on the lower. Though we had dry film lubricant spray that was the perfect shade for the Colt M16A1. The spray was from Plasti Kote. It's like spray on Parkerizing. Great stuff!
Why’s the caption say “removal”? Literally just removed one punch. And then argerahgahlagababba to get the other pin out😂
Before u touch up with alim blueing u need to use rubbing alcohol first to remove oils yes there u do this some say u heat it it a bit with a hairdryer makes it do even better but yes that cool I used dab tooth paste it slsome works lite scratch s to😊
Thats amazing! That happened to me with my Rugar SFAR and had to go to the The Armory and have a nice guy use a sharp tool pusing in from underneath. This is great thank you!!! 😊
Training for AR15??…you’ve done away with the the forward assist and dust cover, nothing like a ‘true’ AR15 anymore, especially for training.
Almost sent my new BCM upper back until I tried this trick ! Thank You 👍
Thank youuuuuu
I am worried about light primer strikes that’s the main reason for not upgrading my triggers but I do want a lighter trigger pull so I bought the drop in can’t wait to see what happens I hope everything works good
Please release that VIS M-lok. Cash in hand.
Wow!! Spent 15 minutes trying to get it in. Watched this video and it slid in easy.
No fucking way, just spent the last 30 wondering my retaining pin wouldn’t fit. Was about to give up and go to a local Turners. Just saved me a trip, thanks Sir!
I have the real avid. While the lack of a “sail” does put a stress on the index knob while torquing the barrel nut, it is perfectly safe to use it to change muzzle devices since only the barrel lugs are engaged and no torque is applied on the aluminum receiver in that case. For installing the barrel nut, however, a torque gauge is essencial to make sure you don’t exceed the recommended ft/lbs and eventually crack your upper.
Amazing lesson taught.
